On the southern end of the island of Lastovo, in the cove of Skrivena Luka (meaning Hidden Harbour), there is the beach popularly known as the “mali žal” (“little beach”). The beach is suitable for children and non-swimmers because it has shallows that stretch out up to 10 metres into the sea. There is no natural shade so it is necessary to bring your own sunshade or similar protection from the sun. It is also desirable to have rubber sandals for bathing.
